As children, through APCC's programs, children had the experience of connecting with the world with flexible minds, and they have used that experience to grow into young people who will lead the future.
Would you like to participate in our program in the form of "charity" so that children can stand on the stage of cross-cultural exchange 50 or 100 years from now?
We look forward to your support that will help bring smiles to the faces of future children.

How I first learned that "It’s okay to be different"
Momoka Fujita
Participate in host families and dispatch projects. In 2018, he became Bridge Club Japan President. Currently a second year student in the Department of International Culture, Faculty of International Culture, Seinan Gakuin University. (as of 2020)
When my brother brought back an APCC flyer from school, my family was inspired to become a host family and welcome a boy from Malaysia into our home. From that point on, my family continued to host JAs from several other countries. My interest in different cultures grew, and my involvement with APCC expanded as I joined BRIDGE CLUB Japan and experienced homestays in Mongolia and other countries through APCC programs. APCC is a place where people of different backgrounds have the chance to interact with each other. Even though it is a mixture of various nationalities, religions, languages, and customs, APCC is still like one family. What I learned the most through APCC is that it's okay to be different. With this understanding of diversity, I was able to live with a Japanese identity even in Switzerland, where I studied abroad during my first year of high school. I wouldn't be where I am today if my family hadn't been so supportive of what I wanted to do. I am extremely grateful towards APCC for opening these doors.
Raising children who will spread their dreams from Fukuoka to the world
Tetsuji Ennyu
Participated in event planning, host family, and school visit projects since 1993. Principal of Fukuoka City Takuma Elementary School, president of Fukuoka City International Education Research Association. (as of 2020)
I was involved as an event staff for APCC's 10th anniversary, and as a host family for its 20th anniversary, and as the president of the Fukuoka City International Education Research Group for its 30th anniversary. APCC is developing year by year while valuing the philosophy of "compassion." The school visit project in which our school participates allows children to come into contact with children from countries and regions other than Japan with whom they will create a sustainable society in the future, learn about their diversity, and encourage collaboration. This is a valuable opportunity to realize the importance of coexistence. We will continue to support APCC's activities in order to raise children from Fukuoka who can go on to the world.
APCC brought us closer to the world
Haruna Sadamatsu
Since 2013, he has been participating as a volunteer in camps, GBLAP leaders, events, etc. Currently a member of society. (as of 2020)
I believe that by participating in APCC, I was able to experience compassion and become closer to the world. The year I first attended APCC, I sat in the middle of the campsite at night after the children had gone to bed, and felt the silence and gentle unity of hundreds of children from all over the world sleeping together, and I was almost moved to tears. I had the experience of becoming Children who participate in APCC projects interact with participants who do not speak their language or whose culture they do not know, but by empathizing with others' feelings and sharing fun times, they are able to make lifelong friends. Masu. I think it is unique to APCC's business that we can expand such caring relationships. Also, being involved with APCC has brought me closer to the world. For example, when you heard about Fiji, did you hear about climate change? I think the feeling is completely different if it is the country where my host friend OO-chan lives. When I studied abroad in Bordeaux, a former children's ambassador I volunteered with held a reunion for me. I also reunited with the APCC family in Vietnam. Even if we don't go abroad, we come into contact with the world every day in the things we eat, the things we wear, and in all kinds of situations. At times like these, I think that if someone's face or happy memories come to mind, the feeling of compassion will lead to some kind of action.
