I joined the APCC volunteer for the first time mainly because I wanted to be able to speak English at a daily conversation level, and because I love children. I was able to get involved in a lot of activities by registering for two divisions: one that supports children's performance events, and one that holds volunteer meetups and photo shoots! Additionally, the divisions I belonged to had activities in which I cooperated with and helped volunteers from other divisions, and I was able to interact with almost all of the participants from overseas. Thanks to this, I was able to stay overnight at the orientation camp and experience the day of the event, and was able to experience first-hand the cultural differences between each country through my own eyes and through dialogue with each other.
I'm really glad I participated because I formed friendships with the people I volunteered with!
