Spring Break Homestay Challenge Program: Dispatch to the Philippines to be held as usual

On November 8, Typhoon Haiyan made landfall in the Philippines.

It caused extensive damage in the western Philippines, especially on the island of Leyte.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected by the disaster.

In addition, we will be hosting a Spring Break Homestay Challenge Program (Mission Project 2014) in the Philippines (Manila) next spring.

Regarding dispatch

From November 18th to 22nd, personnel from the Executive Committee and Secretariat were dispatched to conduct on-site investigations.

There was almost no damage from the typhoon in Manila, where I was stationed.

We plan to dispatch as normal.

People from the Philippines are also participating in the mission project.

I was looking forward to the Japanese children visiting.
