the purpose
Aiming to become a "bridge leader" active around the world
○The Global Bridge Leader Training Camp will utilize the human network of the global alumni organization (Bridge Club) of the Asian Pacific Children’s Conference, and through the two-day, one-night collaborative experience with approximately 30 young people from over 30 Asia-Pacific countries and regions, the youth of Fukuoka will gain a deeper understanding of the region’s history and culture.Intercultural UnderstandingandGlobal response capabilitiesWe aim to improve.
○Through various activities in English during the camp,Experience the diversity of the world and challenge yourself to communicate in EnglishBy doing so, we aim to develop bridge leaders who can contribute to the development of the region with a global perspective.

Global Bridge Leader Training Camp 2017 Overview
○Application Deadline:May 26, 2017Friday 17:00
○Date and Time:Sunday, July 16th, 2017 13:00 to Monday, July 17th (National Holiday) 15:00 [2 days, 1 night]
○Number of applicants: 50 high school students
○Cost to Participate:¥9,000(tax included)
≪Breakdown: Accommodation, meals (dinner, breakfast, lunch) and insurance included. ※Please pay your own transportation costs to the meeting point.≫
○venue:Global Arena [Address: 46-1 Yoshitome, Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture]
○Selection: Please refer to the application question "What you would like to learn through participating in the Global Bridge Leader Training Camp"
We will make a comprehensive judgment and selection.
※Preference will be given to those with no experience.
○Selection ResultsAll applicants will be notified of the results by mail in mid-June.
○Conditions for participation:①People who want to try new things using English
② People who want to participate in English activities with young people from other countries
3) People who can participate in all programs without delay.
○Note: ① If a participant cancels after the tour has been confirmed for personal reasons (including injury or illness), a cancellation fee will be charged.
(More details will be provided in the decision notice.)
②The personal information provided when applying to participate will be used only for selecting participants and operating this program.
③Photos and articles taken by APCC and BCIO may be introduced on the official APCC and BCIO websites.
Program Outline
*The program will focus on experiential activities (group work, discussions, etc.).
*The overall proceedings and group activities will primarily be conducted in English.
★This is a workshop conducted by Japanese high school students participating in a program called the GBL Action Program.
