APCC is a non-profit organization that has been conducting grassroots international exchange activities at the private level based in Fukuoka since 1989. The English name of the organization is “Asia-Pacific Children’s Conference in Fukuoka.”Asian-Pacific Children's CIt is affectionately referred to as "APCC," which is an acronym for "onvention in FUKUOKA."

Every summer, over 200 11-year-old child ambassadors and their chaperones from over 30 countries and regions around the world are invited to Fukuoka for the dynamic intercultural exchange "BRIDGE Summer Camp," which takes place over two weeks and turns the entire city of Fukuoka into a giant campsite, cultivating the spirit of OMOIYARI in many ways. And this summer, about 250 overseas participants from 34 countries and regions will gather in Fukuoka! Why not make some special memories this summer with a half-day special program where you can interact with overseas children of the same age?

Exchange program for elementary school students

All the children from overseas are 11 years old! They will split into groups and play various games while asking each other about their names, countries, favorite things, etc., and make friends all over the world!

Former participants of the APCC program who were 11 years old will return to Fukuoka as high school students and working adults! Play games and have discussions with them in English!
