What is BRIDGE Summer Camp and Bridge Kids Exchange Meeting?

``BRIDGE Summer Camp'' is a dynamic and unique event held every summer in which more than 200 11-year-old "Child Ambassadors" and their chaperones invited from over 30 countries and regions around the world treat the entire city of Fukuoka as a campsite. This is a project that promotes cultural exchange.
During the approximately two-week period, there will be an "orientation" to get used to the Japanese climate and life, a "homestay" to experience a Japanese home and school, and a "general exchange" where children from Fukuoka will join and deepen their interactions while sleeping and eating together. ”, these three programs are being implemented in various locations in Fukuoka Prefecture.
More than 100 children from Fukuoka are participating in the "Bridge Kids Exchange Meeting," which is held during the period of the "General Exchange Program" planned at the end. The aim is to challenge exchanges that transcend language and cultural differences by living together with overseas participants from over 30 countries and regions around the world.
APCC calls the children who participate in this ``Bridge Kids Exchange Meeting'' ``FUKUOKA KIDS'' and recruits them from the public every year.
