Regarding APCC's response to the spread of new coronavirus infection

As some of you may already know from the press, we have been preparing for the "BRIDGE Challenge Trip 2020," which is scheduled to send children from Fukuoka to eight countries and regions in March of this year. Due to the spread of infection, we regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel this event. Please see the attached document for details.

Regarding the invitational project "BRIDGE Summer Camp 2020" scheduled to be held in July, we are currently making preparations to hold it as scheduled. Regarding the status of the spread of infection and its response, our corporation will continue to monitor trends and collect information from various locations, and will make a decision on whether or not to proceed with the project by the end of April. Masu. We would like to thank everyone who has applied to become a host family, those who are considering participating in this project, and all other related parties, for your understanding and continued support. I would like to say this.

As you might already know, we have regretfully decided to abort BRIDGE Challenge Trip 2020: a project we have been preparing to send children from Fukuoka to 8 countries and regions in March, 2020, due to the exacerbated coronavirus outbreak.

Additionally, in regard to BRIDGE Summer Camp 2020: an invitation project that is planned for July, 2020, is currently under preparation as planned. We, APCC, will monitor the situation around the outbreak closely, and finalize our decision-making process on whether or not to execute the project by the end of April, which you will be notified the result of. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all the host family applicants, those who have been considering participating in our program, and all other involved parties for their understanding.
