Anyone interested in interacting with foreign students living in the Fukuoka metropolitan area
[Host family recruitment for Ship for World Youth]
From Friday, January 25th to Sunday, January 27th, 2013, young people (men and women between the ages of 18 and 30) participating in the Ship for World Youth program will be coming to Fukuoka Prefecture.
Of the 10 participating countries, young people from two countries, the Republic of Kenya and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, will be coming to Fukuoka this time. Although it will only be for a short period of time, we are looking for host families who will live with the participating young people. Please see the items below first. 1. Homestay period
Friday, January 25th, 2013 (evening) - Sunday, January 27th, 2013 (morning)
*Please come and join us on Friday, January 25th for a welcome party to celebrate the participation of the young people in the program.

2. Eligibility
◎ Families who can live with the participating youth for three days
*It is preferable that there is someone in your family who can communicate in English.

3 Capacity
About 20 households
*If the total number of applications exceeds the capacity, selection will be conducted based on the application form.

4. Cost Burden
Each family is asked to cover the actual costs of the participating youth's stay, such as food, transportation, and admission fees to facilities.
*The cost of the welcome party on Friday, January 25th will be covered by the organizers.
*Up to three people from each household can sign up for volunteer activity insurance (insurance costs will be covered by the organizers).
If you wish to have four or more people join, we will charge 367 yen per person.
