About host families for the Fukuoka Prefecture/Delhi State youth exchange project (request)
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for your continued patronage.
Thank you very much for your continued cooperation in promoting international exchange among young people.
In 2007, our prefecture entered into a friendship partnership with the state of Delhi, India, and we have been promoting exchanges in a variety of fields. In order to deepen exchanges between young people who will lead the next generation, we are planning to invite high school students from Delhi to interact with high school students from within the prefecture.
During your stay, we would like to conduct a homestay as shown below in order to help you learn about Japanese society and culture. Therefore, we would like to ask you to accept Indian high school students for homestay.
[Homestay Implementation Guidelines]
1. Target: 18 students (9 boys, 9 girls) from Delhi Public School Mathura Road, a private high school in New Delhi, India.
Language: English, some students can speak some Japanese.
Age: 13 to 16 years old
2. Acceptance period: 17:00 on Friday, June 14th, 2013 to 14:00 on Sunday, June 16th, 2 nights and 3 days
3. Pick-up date and time: June 14th (Friday) 17:00
4. Delivery date and time: June 16th (Sunday) 14:00
5. Pick-up and drop-off location ACROS Fukuoka (1-1-1 Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City) (tentative)
6. Cost burden Each family is responsible for the cost of homestay.
7. Other points to note when accepting meals, etc. will be explained individually.
