Ambassador Peace is coming to Fukuoka for the first time in 3 years! !
Special collaboration event held! Participation fee is free! !
APCC has not been able to have face-to-face interactions since 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this fall, 13 Peace Ambassadors and others from 12 countries and regions around the world will be coming to Fukuoka! ! Therefore, we will hold a two-day event where the people of Fukuoka and Peace Ambassadors can actually interact! !
This time, we will be collaborating with two organizations to hold a new event that has never been seen before at APCC! Please come and join us♪
★Peace ambassadors from 12 countries and regions are scheduled to visit Japan this year★
Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Philippines, Sri Lanka
Hawaii, Indonesia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea (in no particular order)
◎What is Peace Ambassador (PA)? A former children's ambassador who participated in APCC projects when he was 11 years old and experienced international exchange in Fukuoka. After returning to his home country, he became a member of each country's bridge club (alumni organization) and engaged in networking with other countries and regions and social contribution activities. Members who continue to be active will be selected as Peace Ambassadors and will once again participate in activities in Fukuoka.

October 29th (Sat) APCC × Kids Art Project
APCC is collaborating with “TSUNAGU,” which is usually active in the Kanto region! !
A workshop where you can use leftover products and B-items left over from mass production, etc., and freely paint them to create a one-of-a-kind piece of work. We aim to engage in activities that enrich the mind and economy through the sensitivity and energy of children. Peace Ambassadors will also be participating this time, and international exchange will be held at the same time♪

Let's all think together about what kind of problems we have!
★Let's paint on T-shirts with Peace Ambassadors and create a one-of-a-kind piece of art!
Recruitment overview
Date: Saturday, October 29, 2022
Time: ①10:30-12:00 (Reception starts at 10:00) / ②14:00-15:30 (Reception starts at 13:30)
Capacity: ①25 people ②25 people (If there are many applicants, a lottery will be held)
Target audience: 1st grade of elementary school to 3rd grade of junior high school (English proficiency not required)
Location: Fukuoka Foreign Language College (1-8-27 Umade, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka 812-0054)
Participation fee: Free
What to bring: T-shirt to paint (any color is fine)
*You can also purchase APCC T-shirts (1,000 yen) at the venue.
Notices:
On the day of the event, you will be using paint, so please come dressed in clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

October 30th (Sunday) APCC × Global Startup Center collaboration project
Fukuoka Growth Next is Fukuoka City's startup support facility located on the site of the former Daimyo Elementary School in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City. Among them is the Global Startup Center, which provides support for people who want to start a business overseas and people who want to expand to Fukuoka from overseas. "Global Startup Center", where various people gather from Fukuoka and all over the world, and APCC are collaborating to provide you with a step towards the global world! !
Program content
★All programs will be conducted in English!
★Special tour of a renovated historic elementary school facility! The former classroom houses various startups, and there is also a co-working space where you can collaborate! !
★Let's hear from people from overseas who actually started their own businesses in Fukuoka through the Global Startup Center!
★Free talk with peace ambassadors and entrepreneurs! Let's make this an encounter that will lead to the future!
