First registration as a volunteer in 2023 (working adult). Works to support Junior Ambassadors entering and exiting the country and host families.
The day of departure was also so moving that it brought tears to my eyes
I came across APCC when my said, "Isn't it a good for you involving events related to children?"
I have no experience of hosting a homestay and studying abroad. I also can't speak English at all. Even so, I was able to receive gratitude from many people through volunteer activities, and was able to spend a fulfilling time.
The great thing about APCC is that you can meet people from all different generations. I had the opportunity to talk with a variety of people, from students to people with grandchildren. Everyone is so kind and easy to participate even for first-timers! Also, children from various countries and children in Japan are so cute! The last moment on the day of departure was also so moving that I cried.
These past few months have given me a lot of inspiration. I will definetly participate again next year. I'm studying hard so that I can speak English better!
