The entire group has left the country safely!

As of yesterday morning, July 24th, all of the countries and regions invited this year had safely left the country.

This year, as it was the 25th anniversary, we invited more people than usual to Fukuoka and planned many events.

In addition to the usual guests of 212 Child Ambassadors, 41 Chaperones, 34 Peace Ambassadors, and 3 BCIO headquarters members, a total of about 500 people, including managers of overseas offices in each country, representatives of Bridge Clubs from each country, and members of Bridge Clubs from each country who participated at their own expense, came to Fukuoka.

While the children enjoyed their homestay, the adult participants got to know each other through numerous meetings and workshops, gained a deeper understanding of APCC, and agreed to work together with APCC in the future to raise the children of the future.

The main event of the period was held on July 20th, when Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako of Akishino visited the event and interacted with representatives of alumni associations and Bridge Clubs from around the world. She also watched the 25th anniversary film, "The Flying Goldfish and the World's Secrets," together with many APCC participants and associates.

Photos of the event can be found on the APCC official website.Photo Album, or the officialFacebookIt's on the page, so please take a look!

Upon leaving the country, many participants said they were touched by the warmth of the people of Fukuoka and that it reaffirmed the value of the APCC program.

We were able to complete all of these projects without any major issues and without any problems thanks to all of you who support APCC in various ways. We are very grateful. We look forward to your continued support!
