With the departure of the Sri Lankan and Maldivian delegations on the night of Wednesday, July 26th, all 45 delegations participating in the 29th APCC invitational program have now completed their departure. This year, the Micronesian delegation is the last to arrive home. They are still in Guam, a stopover on the way, and will board a plane to Micronesia tomorrow, bringing to a close their long journey.
This year's invitation project is coming to an end without any problems. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who supported the APCC invitation project despite the scorching heat.
The secretariat has received numerous reports from contact points in each country about welcoming the group upon their return. We cannot introduce all of them, but we will post a few here.
To everyone who helped me...I am filled with gratitude so please read it.

[Myanmar Office (Chaperone)]
Dear APCC members,
I can say I'm very proud of my 2017 JAs!
They were on their best behavior (but not without some slight minor incidences is sure) throughout the whole of this 2017 29th APCC, sharing their culture and giving their best on stage.
We all had a marvelous time filled with irreplaceable memories of Marine Camp life and Japanese home stay, not forgetting the grand royal audience by Mayor Shinohara himself and Mr. Nagaoka, Head of BOE at the Miyama-shi City Hall, which was one great VIP treatment for 11yr old JAs, followed by a grand welcome dinner and cultural exchange dance.
Due to all the great efforts rendered by the ever efficient APCC HO members and 24/7 volunteers who were always there and were very cooperative and it took all the JAs' nonsense with a sweet smile. Thanks are also due to all the other 45 participating countries' JAs, PAs, chaperones, volunteers, Bridge club members , BCMM & BCIO members and to all who gave me a helping hand with full zest for pre- departure preparations to make this a successful trip although I am not able to thank each and everyone individually.
Thank you very much.
I am sure all this experience will leave a memorable imprint in their young minds for life even after they settle back in their daily lives. Thank you for your hard work.

Thank you very much for everything that you had done for me and my JA. We finally made it home safely. My JA have learned well during the camp and most part of it was their time with their host families. They have enjoyed the warm and sincere hospitality of their host families. It was a marvellous time though they are now homesick thinking back to their various Kazoku there in Kandamachi. Sending our sincere regards to all the staffs and families in Japan. Thanks Sepuloni Folau.
