I live far away from Fukuoka, but can I purchase charity goods?

If you wish to purchase, please contact the APCC office first. (Once you have completed and submitted the goods application form and confirmed the transfer of the goods price (shipping fee included), we will send it by mail)

If I become a member of the BRIDGE CLUB Japan, will I be able to interact with other BRIDGE CLUB members?

Through some online events, you may have the opportunity to interact with BRIDGE CLUB members from around the world. Also, depending on the summer program schedule, there is a possibility that you will be able to interact with Peace Ambassadors when they actually come to Fukuoka.

Can I cancel my regular donation to Smile Support Project at any time?

Yes. It is. The procedure for canceling regular donations will be included in the thank you email you receive from the APCC office after your donation, so you can cancel your subscription by following the procedures there.

Can I donate to APCC using something other than a credit card?

Yes, you can. We accept cash donations via bank transfer or at the APCC office, so please contact the office if you are considering donation.

How many foreign participants from each country/region will come to the BRIDGE Summer Camp?

In principle, one delegation from each country/region comes to Fukuoka. Each delegation consists of a total of five people: four 11-year-old children (two boys and two girls) called "Junior Ambassadors'' and one adult "Chaperon.'" Additionally, one selected "Peace Ambassador" also will visit Fukuoka with the delegation if there is an active BRIDGE CLUB in their countries/regions.

Can I be both a host family and volunteer at the same time?

It is possible to participate in both. However, during the period of acceptance as a host family, Junior Ambassador is given first priority. If you wish to participate in APCC volunteer activities, please be sure to consult with your family members and participate in the activities in a reasonable manner.

What will you do during the challenge trip overnight training?

The children who are members of the group and the volunteers who lead them together go through a one-night, two-day training session to deepen the group's cohesiveness and experience what it's like to live away from their parents' homes.

Is the dispatch schedule for Challenge Trip 4 nights and 5 days at any destination?

I have dates where I cannot participate in the pre-challenge trip training, but can I still apply?

In principle, participation in all training sessions is a prerequisite. You can apply, but priority will be given to those who can participate in all training sessions.
